Antique Vintage Large Glass Sweet Jar, Apothecary Jar. No1. Standing 37cm tall and a maximum of 16 cm wide, and weighs 1.8kg. The jar glass has no cracks or chips and has a ground area inside the neck and on the lid for sealing. Some small bubbles are in the glass which is common amongst items of this age. The shape of the lid is octagonal with a pontil to the base. The main body of the jar is also eight sided but not a regular octagon, it is 14 cm wide at the base and 16cm at its widest point.
